Kōbo-ido well
Going a little bit north of the Ishibotoke Temple and near the Kōya Kaido we can find the “Daishi no Ido” (the well of Daishi) that still is gushing out. In the Medieval Period, the Ishibotoke Castle was located near the top of the mountain at the back. The local people also call this well as the “Tenjin well”. Up to more than 60 years ago, it was used by the residents to get water in everyday living.
