Kōshindō termple

The Kōshindō temple of Shinmachi was transferred from Shitennoji temple in year 9 of the Kanbun period (1669). The Shomen-Kongo is enshrined here. During the night of the Koshin festival, a hanging scroll with the image of the Shomen-Kongo is displayed. It is friendly called as “Koshinsan” and in the temple festivals it becomes crowded with many fair booths.
