Former Mikkaichi Police Station

This building is where the ancient Mikkaichi Inn was located. Until 2007 (year 19 of the Heisei period), it served as the Mikkaichi Osaka Prefecture Police Station. It was also used as a police substation. Now, it is the oldest wooden police substation building left in the Prefecture. The characteristic of the building is the mixture of western style and Japanese style construction.
