Amano Bridge
(Amanobashi)

Amano Bridge

The river was called Amanogawa until around 1955 but now it is known as Nishiyokegawa river. This name was taken from the “Nishiyokeguchi” (west spillway gate) in “Sayamaike Pond” where this river flows in. When you cross the Amano bridge over this Nishiyokegawa river, the West Kōya Kaido goes into Kawachinagano city from Osakasayama city. Turning a little bit back north from this bridge, there is a 10 RI (1RI=3.93km) milestone. You will reach this road if you walk about 500m west from Takidani station of the Nankai Koya Line.
