Dainichi-ji Temple
In the Dainichi-ji Temple ruins, 6 tombs were found that were built during the Medieval Period. In each of them, Chinese white and celadon porcelain as well as local gray-black earthenware and unglazed pottery were found. They are up on the hill at the back of the town center where the Koyado was located. So, it can be deducted that these are tombs of powerful people related to the Koyado. Inside the area of the Dainichi-ji temple ruins, there is a small hall called “Dainichi-ji.”
